I started this piece back in December, but I struggled. I struggled because I kept on trying to paint like someone else. Every time I watch a youtube video, or see an amazing artist on Instagram, I get enamored by their art. I want to be like them. Turns out, it doesn’t work like that.
What makes my art unique is me! There are definitely techniques and tricks I learn from other artists, but I realized that I should never try to paint like someone else. Once I let go of that, this piece kind of just happened, and I am so glad that I struggled through it, and came out stronger. Hope you love it as well!
